Appointments & Scheduling

How do I schedule appointments?

You can schedule your first appointment directly through our homepage. Once you’re an established patient, follow-up visits can be scheduled through our secure patient portal.

Need help? How to Request an Appointment

How often will I need appointments?

The frequency depends on your individual needs. Early on, appointments are more frequent while we establish and adjust your care plan. As stability improves, visits may become less frequent. Medication changes require a follow-up within 1 month. Patients on controlled substances must be seen at least every 3 months.

How long are the appointments?

Initial evaluations are scheduled for 60 minutes, and follow-up visits are 25 minutes.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a fee.

Do you offer emergency appointments?

We do not offer emergency or same-day crisis appointments. If you are in crisis or experiencing a mental health emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.

You can also contact a 24/7 crisis resource, such as the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988 for immediate support. Your safety and well-being are the top priority.

Medications & Refills

What is your medication refill policy?

Refills are provided during scheduled appointments and are intended to last until your next expected visit. We do not accept pharmacy-initiated refill requests. If you need a refill outside of visits, please request it through the patient portal at least 2–3 business days in advance.

Can you prescribe controlled medications via telehealth?

Yes, current DEA and HHS extensions allow us to prescribe certain controlled medications via video telehealth through December 31, 2025. You must be physically located in Kansas or Missouri during your appointment. Prescriptions can only be sent to pharmacies in those states. Controlled substances require follow-up at least every 3 months, and we recommend one in-person visit annually. We follow all federal and state regulations for safe and compliant care.

Telehealth & Technology

Do you offer telehealth appointments?

Yes! We offer secure video-based telehealth visits for patients in Kansas and Missouri. We recommend an in-person first visit when possible and require in-person appointments at least once per year for ongoing care.
